About the creator

My name is Ally (Alexandra) Marielle Verkowitz. I am 22 years old and I just graduated St. John’s University in Queens, NY. I grew up on Long Island and have lived here ever since. Throughout my life I have always watched powerful people and people who had a message speak out. While growing up I wanted to be someone like that, someone who had a voice, a message and could bring something to others. With those ideas I waited for an opportunity to bring those thoughts into reality. While I was in college I was in a relationship, though I didnt come out of college with it throughout my breakup I really struggled and was trying to find ways of learning how to deal with the breakup. I soon learned… there is no right way to deal with it, you just do. But throughout this I learned my way of dealing and what I did helped me. No ones breakup or even experiences are the same but there are many things that we can relate to because we may have gone through bits and pieces of the same situation, and for others maybe they have gone through it but didnt know how to deal. That is why I created this website. This website was an idea I have had for a while and really took some time to put together. I know a lot of us out there are always looking for some friendly advice, or advice thats not from your friends but a different source, this is what im trying to be, the person who shows you that even though a breakup can really shake things up….. and trust me id know, there’s ways of dealing with it and adjusting to your new era and you dont have to go through it alone, you can go through it with my community, Heartless.
